Following a decision by the Federal Social Court of basic insurance carrier pay for the replacement of furniture (in this case a new bed and a new cabinet) if this is necessitated by a move, endorsed by the basic insurance carrier itself causes. Although the wording of the relevant here § 23 SGB III II will cover only the basic equipment of a dwelling, but replacements are equivalent to the evaluation standard, when the old furniture not only fit less well in new home but are still functional, but with a move are useless and this move was prompted by the basic security support.
